There are some minor imperfections. The hardcover closes but there are tiny gaps since it’s a little stiff - I tried to capture this in the pictures from multiple angles (book lying flat on the table, top of the book view, etc) but please let me know if you want more. It’s not super noticeable but I think you may be able to fix this by stacking a couple books on top for a couple days or ensuring books are on either side when putting it on a bookshelf. Also a small dent on the jacket and hardcover spine at the bottom.
